Neptune Rising

Neptune Rising is a female singer/song-writer based in London, having finally found her place writing, singing, and partly producing music after 22 years of being in and around what she loves most....She is half-Swedish, half-British and comes form a creative, artistic family - both her parents are semi-professional musicians, and other family members are involved professionally with the arts.Neptune Rising has been around music since she was 7, origianlly starting out classically, playing the violin, then the oboe, piano and then vocals. She then started composition work when she was 14. However, her gut feeling and passion brought her towards experimenting with the more underground, modern side of music from the age of 18 and began recording in 2007.Her passion involves all types of music - as long as there is a beat, a vibe and movement then she wants to get involved... Her voice is also versatile so she is keen to diversify with her music. Her musical influences are from all over and she uses them and her life experiences, many of which are international, in her music and lyric writing.She met and struck a bond with 21st Sector in the summer of 2007, (namely because they share the same birthday and are both Virgo Horses - something to be reckoned with!) and has been collaborating with him ever since.Neptune Rising writes the majority of the music and lyrics, sings and partly arranges tracks whilst 21st Sector engineers and produces them. Their band name is still being decided...but the tracks they have recorded together can currently be heard on this page as demo edits....Neptune Rising is also in the process of collaborating with other musicians including Mesa Verde, DJ Alex Collings and Aurora X involving other music genres and fusions...and has also recently been approached to have some tracks aired on Ibizan radio. She writes and experiments with her own music too...so watch this space!
