About Me

Although we are not touring like a pack of wild dogs like we used to, we're still around, still trying new things and still packing 'em in. We started in late '89 with Lez Karski on guitar and vocals, Shane Pacey on the same, Al Britton on bass and vocals and Ace Follington on drums but not vocals (Except for the occasional drum stool muttering of "what is this, a marathon?") This was the line-up that started the hard touring years, and the one that recorded our first two albums. Many fine players have been through the ranks since then including Robbie Souter, Declan Kelley, Matt Morrison, Mitch Grainger, Andy Vainauskas and Joel Sutton, but the existing line-up has been the most stable for some time. The driving force of the band has always been its insistance on playing predominantly original music, penned mainly by Shane, with contributions from Lez, Al and Eben. Sometimes we veer away from accepted blues/R&B styles and that gets us in trouble with "blues policemen," but as our audience take no notice of them, it don't really matter. We've released 5 studio albums, one double live album and a soon to appear "best of," with a new studio album some time after that.
