I am a 54 year old single woman with 4 dogs. I have enjoyed many things in my life,i.e, golfing, skiing downhill and cross country, weight training, jogging, biking, roller bladeing (word?), hiking, writing(poetry, reading, sewing, gardening, sky diving and home improvement. If any of those pursuits can give you any insight to my character... who can know. For now I am a novice yogini, a veteran stinker, a parttime writer and a fulltime dog owner. I have no children (that was a conscious choice) however, I am willing to play with them and love them as long as it is in short time spans. I like wide open spaces, solitary walks, living off the grid, running under the radar, the early morning quiet, slow moving clouds, thunderstorms, hidden mountain valleys. I love long lazy afternoons with layabout dogs, hot humid summer evenings, the crunch of footfalls on dry fall leaves, crisp fall days, freshly fallen snow, my dogs, my family and my friends. The road I have traveled has been, at times, rough, however, I would never change one little bit. This, my very personal road, has led me here. I would not want to be anywhere else or anyone else and I look forward to what life has in store. My favorite quote of all time is from one of Martin Luther King's speechs which could be applied to anyone or anything. It goes something like this: I wait (look) for the day when my children and my children's children will be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. That is the jist of it. I think we all need to take a step back and look at other people for who they are not what they are.
