The Los Angeles Breast Cancer Allilance (LABCA) started a program dedicated to Young Survivors and provides non-clinical support to promote healing and recovery for young women diagnosed with breast cancer. Young women under 45 are often diagnosed at a later stage than their older counterparts. LABCA encourages young women to become advocates for their own health and become educated about breast cancer. If you are a young woman affected by breast cancer you are not alone. LABCA's Young Survivors program is here to help you.LABCA is planning events throughout Los Angeles County dedicated to young women diagnosed with breast cancer.
