The Smokin' 45s is a three piece rock 'n' roll act that attacks the rockabilly genre from the country side. They describe their music as country and western rhythm and blues, because it combines aspects of those styles in songs who's subjects range from gunfighters and heartbreak to drug addiction and casual sex. With a brisk sound that is often described as "hard to believe it only comes from three guys", they are a crowd pleasing party band that appeals to people of many tastes. Come on out to one of their shows and get a taste of what their fans call "Psychoghetti-Western Twang"...................................................... .................I would describe their sound as an edgy rockabilly. A high energy feel that is almost classic pulp, harkening to the sound of America’s pop culture period of the late 50’s early 60’s if it were injected with Viagra and transported into the future of today’s culture... They sound like something that should be featured in the next Quentin Tarantino film.-----Chad LeFevre – Krave Magazine
