The Culls

About Me

You could probably refer to us as an "alt. country band" but it's anyone's guess what we really are. We write lots of stuff that borrows from bluegrass, old-style honky tonk, a wee bit of drinker-friendly gospel (no need to go to church on Sunday, we'll bring salvation to the bar for ya on Saturday night) and when we dig out the cover tunes they are usually old-timey bluegrass and old/outlaw country. If yer lookin' for glossy new-country stuff, keep right on movin', stranger.Petersen and Overwater also play in a country-punk-metal band called Black Dirt of the West. Juanita has a solo record out, Platt is also in The Ruminants.
