Rudi (of the DubCats)

I first started music at aged 10 playing steel pan and trying my fingers at the piano, after reaching 14 I was taught to play brass instruments in the military band of Guyana, then entered into the commercial band of the army to play keyboards for about 2 years. With that knowledge I moved to Jamaica in 1986 to form The Ninja Force Band from Negril. During that time I had the opportunity to play for loads of artists. There are too many to mention but here are some: BERES HAMMOND, EVERTON BLENDER, GREGORY ISSACS, DENNIS BROWN, MIKEY SPICE, MIKEY DREAD, JOSEY WALES, YELLOWMAN, LADY PATRA, LADY SAW, TYRONE TAYLOR etc... This was a chance of a lifetime. Now time has moved on and so has I. At the moment I play for Max Romeo and for the DubCats. Blessed be the Almighty, one love and keep the faya burning.
