Whilst spiritual darkness covers the earth our most primitive tool, music, has been contaminated with genetically modified emotion, inciting some to lose sight of this gift of song. From the slavery fields to the taverns in old England to wars in every part of the Earth, music has been used to inspire the spirit or soothe the soul or inform the oppressed of the movements of the oppressor. For us, DubCats, we have tried to keep our message pure to the original purpose; to inform in a world where we are finding our freedom of speech encroached upon, to free the mind from the lies the system has been tricking the world with, into a state of a low plane of thought, that if left unchecked will lead to a physical or spiritual destruction (facts the oppressor knows of all too well). We hope our music will move you to fine works and your love light shine bright enough to pass it on as darkness has been the tool of the oppressor throughout the ages. If we collectively shine our light, very soon, just as a light bulb defeats the darkness to its four corners, so our light will defeat all those who operate under cover and will again with the help of music begin our spirit dance of life, perfect in every step, leading to the true life that the oppressor would not want us to ever know about, much less live. We urge you to your path and we hope that soon enough it will illuminate to you and you join the spiritual first fruit that Bob Marley spoke of in the seventies, as the DubCats path have led us to help him sing the Redemption song of Freedom.
