Do you want to make Miami and South Florida a better place to live and work? You can be a part of something better. .. ...Support the Wallflower Gallery....click here:....If you have 'Urban Heat Island' dig these. .. ...Okay here's the deal...The Golden Langur says, "Eyy yO what's up?? When I am not foraging for tasty leaves, seeds, fruits, & flowers & ranging widely to avoid extinction due to deforestation in Bhutan I listen to 'Where I'm Going' from Urban Heat Island on my IPOD, if you buy it - you can dig it too! It's now available for download on the SNOCAP store above." This is my street team: They are endangered! Without them the world wouldn't be the same place....it would be worse. .. ... Think About It!In May I played at The Artist In Residence thing at South Shores in Lake Worth it was cool.If you want to get hip to some really cool music check out Mike Watt's radio show! Click here: Sunday I played at Churchill's with VEGA it was great!Saturday I played in Miami: (Photos by Thomas Fleming) The show was at The Eco Forum at The Wallflower Gallery It was very cool. .. ... (Photo by Darlene Harris) Check out the review of my cd 'Urban Heat Island' click here: ..Hey I played at The Scrap Bar in Miami Beach Feb 24th... The belly-dancers at Tobacco Road... After the gigs I spent the next afternoon taking in some great world beat with Fushu Daiko at Morakami in Delray Beach ....meanwhile back in the day 1:I was the singer in VEGA... Wow I'm back on bass...how did that happen?? Now I'm in a band called TOGEN add my band's myspace from my top people........ I am working on another new disc, go figure. Here's the cover I am working on for it.... You can get Urban Heat Island in Dade County at The Wallflower Gallery (in Downtown Miami), & in Palm Beach County at Backbone Music 61 SE 4th Ave Delray Beach (off Atlantic).I have been writing and recording for years and years now I was the bass player for Spinning Room and/or One Big Magic for 10 years sang and played guitar in the jazz-rock project Badself with saxophonist Tony Harris, I was the guitarist for the mod-punk Dog 5 Trio and I was a co-conspirator on the self title debut and the highly acclaimed Stray Dogma around the same time I caught up with old high school band mate Matt Hake and we recorded a pretty cool disc of acoustic material we used to play in bars and coffee house crowds which was really fun, we called it JAM! ...in 2003 I moved to South Florida from Niagara Falls after 15 years of gigging from Buffalo to Cleveland Albany to NYC Boston Toronto and places in between....I have been a band member or studio musician on 22 recordings and I have my own indie record label - going strong since 1994! I have two ongoing studio projects, World Beat Down, my world-beat-rock thing and Modern Breakdown, my post-punk post-modern outlet for angst and a platform for my views on protecting the environment - for more on that check out to see my photo pictorial on the boarded up community of Love Canal before they tore down all of the houses click hereNow I have a group for my art & my music....check it out, you can join my group on myspace...click here: .... How cool is that?Ok Borders didn't have Dylan Thomas poetry - anything, and that is seriously lame...but they redeemed themselves with the complete Van Gogh book with every painting he has done for a scant 19.99...crazy~Okay so now you can dig what I'm reading right now, I'm sort of like Oprah.... Here is a great book I just got from Barnes & Noble...Gauguin Tahiti...if you love this artist get this book ! Its hardcover and rather large I paid around $60 US for it but I love it! If you haven't read it you must read: You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor !
