Carl Ciadella started playing the drums at age 12. Carl developed his reading and early technique from some of the finest drum instructors in the Niagara Falls/Buffalo, New York area. Some of these teachers include Louie Marino,Rob Thurman and Joe Cataldo. At the age of 14, Carl was ready and anxious to start a band and play live. In 1986, Carl helped form the band "Stormbringer." The band consisted of Jamie Holka (Guitar), Rob Neubauer (Vocals) and Mario Nobilio (Bass). Stormbringer covered such bands as Deep Purple, Whitesnake and Black Sabbath. Up until 1991, Carl performed and recorded with many bands in the Niagara Falls/Buffalo, New York area such as "Spanish Fly" and "Big Trouble."In 1991, Carl decided to challenge his musicianship and drumming skills by enrolling at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. At Berklee, Carl concentrated on performance, but also studied ear training, and music theory. While at Berklee, Carl got the chance to study with some of the best instructors in the Boston area such as Alan Hall, Skip Hadden, Rick Considine and Ed Kaspik. Carl also got the chance at Berklee to perform in various playing situations such as jazz, blues, and fusion groups. After two years at Berklee, Carl moved back to Upstate New York to focus more on playing live and to teach privately. From 1993 to 1994, Carl performed with many different bands in the Upstate New York area such as... the progressive rock band "Electric Earth", blues rock band "Slo Burn" and one of Buffalo's best cover rock bands, "Tribal Reign." In 1994, Carl joined the Buffalo based Van Halen tribute band "Diver Down". Diver Down performed in various clubs around New York State and Pennsylvania, opened for many national acts such as "Living Colour" and "Great White" and they were also voted "Buffalo's best tribute band" in 1995.In 1995, Carl relocated to Las Vegas, NV. Carl helped form the Las Vegas original rock band "Tom Fooleri," which played at such Las Vegas rock clubs as "The Shark Club" and "Boomers." In 1997, Carl decided to switch gears and sharpen up his country chops with new country act "Sandra Lee and Brittini". The "Sandra Lee and Brittini" band played many shows around Las Vegas and opened for such national country acts such as "Rick Trevino" and "Lone Star."
