I try to deviate from standard formulas to the point that each song sounds unique but accessible. Bathes in life's diversity wrapped in its commonalities ha hum. Opens the mind to new possibilities in a way that feels meaningful to all. I like to hear and write melodies that stick in your head and you don't mind them staying there, rock rhythms that make you want to dance or at least bob your head, chord progressions you've never heard before but you wonder why because it just clicks, sophisticated arrangements, sweet vocal harmonies, words that you can relate to and make you think or just entertain, and musical styles that follow the mood of a song rather than a formula. I hope you find all that and more to turn you on right here. I have been writing and playing and teaching music for a long time, I am fortunate enough to have played my own songs at CBGB's before it closed and, you know, a lot more along the way. Some may remember me from the bands Om's Law, Petting Zoo and Big Rock. Please give a listen and tell me if there's something you like.

I also perform all of the vocals, guitars, keyboards, bass, flute, and harmonica and program the drum machine and record and mix myself on almost all of these songs.
