About Me
Dragon Breath Bobzilla
I grew up out east, born in New York City and have traveled and lived all over
the country. After spending those formative years in Highland Park, NJ, it was off to Boston, then Chicago, Louisiana, Seattle, Alaska and San Francisco. I
recently moved across the San Francisco Bay to Berkeley and I love it here. I've been in the Bay Area since 1996.
I've always been a California boy at heart, very easy going and laid back. I meditate, I'm a Buddhist, I perform circus tricks for fun.
I'm into SCUBA diving and am an Assistant Instructor. I love diving. It's a pretty tranquil world when you're down there.
Never married, no kids, happily dating. I know what I'm looking for and I'm not willing to settle for less. I have a rich and fulfilling life, I'd rather be alone than be with the wrong woman.
With Lillie and Ruby at Burningman
I go to Burning Man where I'm the Station Manager and a DJ on BMIR, Burning Man Information Radio .
On the playa and in the west coast underground scene I go by Bobzilla, if we went to high school or college together you probably
know me as Bob Sommer.
I'm a radio announcer and work part time at KALW-FM , a station in San Francisco. My main occupation is
in information technology. I work for, a huge law firm. I love my job and the firm does good work.
I'm also Co-Manager and a DJ on Shouting Fire , an internet radio station. Check it out.
I blog, but only on Tribe , you'll have to go there if you want to read it. I'm easy to find there, same user name (Bobzilla) same avatar.
I have one dog, Shomer, my pit bull who's my constant companion. He's almost 12 now. I've had him since he was three weeks old.
Howling with Shomer
I generally don't add people as friends unless I know you in real life or we have some sort of connection (like we went to school together, worked together, have common friends, have had a significant online conversation, etc.).
Note to Bands and Musicians : Thank you for bringing your work to my attention via a friend request. I listen to everything sent my way and often give bands I found here on MySpace airtime. If I do play your music on one of my shows I will always contact you first. Regardless, please do not be offended if I don't add you to my friends list.
