Jazz Upstairs is the new jazz club that opened on the top floor of Bar Guru Bar in November 2004.Before its opening, Athens lacked a newly designed jazz live space and a jazz live bar club with a laidback atmosphere, where jazz musicians could meet, jam and feel at home while at the same time, jazz lovers could feel relaxed and enjoy the music.
Upstairs - once a sweaty little disco-house club, now an intimate venue that has plugged a hole for local jazz lovers called “Jazz Upstairs†- an exciting line-up of jazz bands show off their stuff.
