Patrizio Rizzi (Tryxio) è un batterista/percussionista e dal 2006 è un componente del gruppo The Big Muff Project. Il suo drumming è molto creativo e fortemente influenzato dalla tradizione delle percussioni etniche e ispirato da musicisti rock e jazz come Trilok Gurtu, Gavin Harrison e Bill Bruford e il suo particolare “rhythm&sound†attinge dalle differenti influenze musicali che ha assorbito. In concerto la sua creatività è di grande supporto al chitarrista Beppe Lombardo e al bassista Max Marchini. Patrizio è anche presente in lavori di teatro-musica e in spettacoli di danza moderna per i quali le sue composizioni sono state apprezzate da pubblico e critica. Musicista di grande sensibilità , Patrizio dedica parte della sua attività a progetti in comunità terapeutiche dando ai giovani l’opportunità di trovare, attraverso la musica, un’altra via per vivere la loro vita. Patrizio Rizzi è membro della Percussive Arts Society e dell’ Artists’ Project Earth. Patrizio Rizzi is an Italian drummer and percussionist, best known as Tryxio and he's a member of The Big Muff Project since 2006. His playing is free and deeply influenced by the ethnic percussions traditions while inspired by rock and jazz players such Trilok Gurtu, Gavin Harrison and Bill Bruford. His playing is characterized by a very special and creative rhythm due to the different musical influences he has absorbed. In concert Patrizio' sound is wide, creating a strong support to his guitarist Beppe Lombardo and his bassist Max Marchini. Patrizio's performances take also place for theatre and dance events and his compositions are appreciated and well reviwed. As a sensitive musician Patrizio dedicates part of his work to social work and rehabilitation programmes, giving young people the chance to find an alternative way to live their lives through music.
