Left for solo computer experimental music and soundscapes in 1985. Played jazz for a short time in a quartet. Released 2 solo works "Esperimentamenti sonori 1 ; 2". 1989-1991. Worked on scores for theatre plays. Recently rejoined old mate guitar wizard Beppe Lombardo and founded the progressive rock trio Big Muff composing, playing Bass and synthesiser. The Band is now called Big Muff Project being open to external contributors as well as working in several different parallel projects, from theatre play score to music for ballets.Apart from the musical activities, worked as copywiter and at visual communication staregy agencies in Milan. Band Members: Just me on guitars, basses, keyboards, sitar. Mainly I play ebow guitar using an old Gibson Les Paul Standard. Then I am very deeply in love with acoustic guitars. I use many but my main one is a J-200 elite. Also love a 12-strings Guild that was made on june 1st, 1976. Magic in there. Then I use an old Fender Jazz Bass and a fltatwound stringed Rickenbacker 4001cs from 1963. But always open to new adventures. Please see Franz Soprani's videoclip for Northern Heavens in my Video Area.
