I am a married man of 18 years to my beautiful wife tracey, i have a daughter of very nearly 18 years old called Leighan and also a son of 15 years old named Jake .My job title is a Logistics Expert, but the real job title is a Truck Driver, yes, im a big wheeler . I also have an ADR licence which enables me to transport hazardous goods, from common household bleach to hydrofluoric acid. http://physchem.ox.ac.uk/MSDS/hightoxicity.html Now you may think this is an easy job, just sit in a truck and drive the goods to the destination.... wrong. there are so many elements to take in to consideration, such as road conditions, other vehicles on the road, load stability & compatibility I can only carry hazardous materials in recepticals i dont have a tanker licence as yet.I joined the Leeds Rifles army cadet force when i was 13 and left when i was 17. I completed 6 years in the terratorial army, Royal Artillery, 269 battery, carlton barracks from 1986 to 1992.Had so many jobs of different orientation you wouldnt believe, left school and was a labourer for george wimpey homes, yts for curb laying & paving, plant nursery, croupier in a casino, completed city & guilds 208 a & b chefs coarse, mini bus driver for the special needs and disabled , taxi driver, finance collector, cleaner security guard at covance laboratories, to name a few.... but my main love is driving, and found my feet when i started driving trucks. my favourite saying when anyone asks me if i mind taking a load or collecting a load is " if it involves me driving on big wheels on tarmac im happy " my favourite pass time whilst driving is the good old " leg inspectorate of female apendages " so next time your passing a big truck ladies, show some thigh for marks out of 10 eh eh.
