About Me

I’m a young jazz-singer with a driven passion for old jazz music, french chanson and world music. I started music, dance and drama- classes at the age of 7, as from that moment music and performing became the main thing in my life. My personal preferences guided me direction jazz-singing. I studied at Jazz studio in Antwerp where I was taught by Gabriel Madiata and at Lemmensinstitute in Leuven with Natasha Roth. At the moment I’m continuing my jazz training at the conservatory of Ghent with Kirsten Cornwell and Sofie Verbruggen. My dream in life is to meet musicians of many different cultures and learn and play music with them. For now you can find me on stage with some young, talented bands: Le comptoir du desir (swing jazz), Cafe con leche (latino ska), Douce Ambiance (swing, french chanson) or in other musical projects... Hope to meet you at one of my gigs...
