At the age of 6 I began to take music courses. As instrument I choose the Guitar. After about two cycles ( 7 years) playing the Spanish guitar, I graduated and quitted the further courses.
The reason was that I couldn’t play what I felt. So I started playing chords on my own, together with the singing part.
Like every 16 year old, with an electric guitar, I started my first band together with my friend Yves. No Punk, No Metal, No Hardcore or whatever… It was Bleus we played.
After we travelled trough the several bands, me and Yves started, we did some small performances like a free-stages, nothing real good.
Then the years of ‘De Kunstbende’ (music competition) started. Three times we stood on stage, never first but three times Top 3 with our blues-rock-‘n roll improvisation.
During the same period, I started to write my own songs for acoustic guitar. Uncomplicated music and melancholic lyrics. In my opinion good music is about “GIVING THE AUDIENCE THE SAME FEELING AS YOU FELT FOR WRITING THE SONGâ€.
Now, at the age of 22, after a longer period of less playing, I regained the courage to perform, to write songs. Partially trough the ‘renaissance’ of the appreciation for singer-songwriter music, I gave my old songs a newer, fresher sound. Here are some of them… I hope you’ll like them.My Gear:My voice
