After two years of complete silence, METHARIA rise from their ashes, with a new lineup. Finally in June a new PROMO 2008 is out, to start again from where we left and to prepare the album. The first live concerts show our desire to shout at the world we still have energy to sell.
METHARIA formed in 1999, in order to show a different face of Italian music. The bands' compositions, rooted in Hard Rock and Metal, combine heavy sounds and riffs with darkwave influences and a melodic vocal approach, singing in Italian. The band has won many festivals and competitions ('Le Quattro Notti Rock', 'Premio 29 Settembre ', 'Rock Game' among the others), and between 2003 and 2004 they've played live really a lot, appearing on ROCK TV too.
The band released three demos (2000, 2001 e 2003), gaining wonderful reviews on magazines and webzines in all over the world and being played by many international radios (USA, Belgio, Francia, Perú, Gran Bretagna, Italia). The last promo, released in January 2003, shows a more mature band, with a stronger personality, thanks to the better production by Enzo 'Soulfingers' Rizzo (MANU CHAO, MANO NEGRA, 99 POSSE, RANDAGI and many others) and by Bob Fix's mastering (MODENA CITY RAMBLERS, 24 GRANA).
In October 2003 the track "Riflesso" appears on the american compilation “Defenders of Metal Vol.1 – The Seduction†released by Man In Black Music.
METHARIA unfortunately split up in October 2004, just before entering the recording studio for the debut album, produced by Enzo 'Soulfingers' Rizzo. Everything was done, METHARIA had new killer tracks, a manager, a producer, a fan club, propositions to play in Europe and make a South American tour... but in music nothing is written.

Dopo due anni di completo silenzio, i METHARIA decidono di risorgere dalle proprie ceneri, con una nuova formazione. In Giugno finalmente esce il nuovo PROMO 2008, per ripartire dal punto in cui abbiamo lasciato e puntare diritto all'album. Le prime esibizioni live confermano la nostra voglia di urlare al mondo che ci siamo ancora ed abbiamo grinta da vendere.

La band ha vinto svariati concorsi e festival ('Le Quattro Notti Rock', 'Premio 29 Settembre ', 'Rock Game' tra gli altri), e tra il 2003 ed il 2004 sostiene un'intensa attività live in tutt'Italia, apparendo anche su ROCK TV.
La band ha all'attivo tre demos (2000, 2001 e 2003), con i quali ha ottenuto ottime recensioni su magazines e webzines in tutto il mondo ed una notevole diffusione attraverso molte radio internazionali (USA, Belgio, Francia, Perú, Gran Bretagna, Italia). L'ultimo promo, pubblicato nel Gennaio 2003, mostra una band piú matura e con una maggiore personalità , grazie anche alla migliore produzione curata da Enzo 'Soulfingers' Rizzo (MANU CHAO, MANO NEGRA, 99 POSSE, RANDAGI tra gli altri) ed al mastering di Bob Fix (MODENA CITY RAMBLERS, 24 GRANA).

La band si scioglie inaspettatamente nell'Ottobre 2004, poco prima di entrare in sala per registrare l'album di debutto, prodotto da Enzo 'Soulfingers' Rizzo. Tutto era pronto, i METHARIA avevano nuovi brani professionalmente arrangiati, un manager, un produttore, il fan club, offerte per suonare in Europa e per un tour in Sudamerica... ma nella musica niente è scritto.
