Past:
Dimitar is born in 1976. He was about 3 years old when his father noticed Dimitar's trying to whistle a part of Wagner's overture "Tannhäuser".
From this moment the decision for a musical education was set.
In the age of 7 years Dimitar started his first piano-lessons. With 11 years he chose his second instrument - the clarinet.
It took another few years till he got in touch with the bass guitar.
Dimitar graduated his education for classical music in the "Christina Morfowa"
Music-College of Arts 1995.
During the last years in the college Dimitar discovered his interest for Jazz and composing.
His was 17 years when he composed his first "Trio for Clarinet, Violin and Piano". After presenting his composition on a concert the feedback of the audience was that strong that he went on composing with passion.
Two important experiences in Dimitar's youth were the participation at a workshop with the First Clarinet Player of "La Scala", Professor Italo Capicchioni, in Milano, Italy and his concert touring across Italy with the Youth Symphonic Orchestra of his hometown.
Few months later he had the chance to play together with the Art Director of the Canadian Queen Ballet, Alex Zografov .
Presence:
After collecting experiences in different bands in his home country 1999 Dimitar went on Tour with his band "Accent" across Scandinavia for 5 years.
During that time he met a lot of musicians like Scott Fitzgerald ("Babe" the movie) and made many experiences as bass player.
Since 2004 Dimitar lives in North-Germany.
Today he's working as an instrumental teacher for e-bass, clarinet, keyboard and saxophone.
Beside this he's playing in a couple of different bands. They are covering a huge range of music-stiles such as Jazz, Rock, Pop, Funk, Fusion and Irish Folk Rock.
Of course he supports his bands with his own compositions and arrangements.
A part of the musicians he was playing with are Piotr Baron (sax) and Jiri Halada (sax) .
