Reginald grew up in Bessemer Alabama. As a child his parents would buy him a toy guitar every year for Christmas, until the age of 12. This is when all the guitar notes started making sense to him. Reginald tried to understand the guitar before hand and could not, but one day he decided to pray to God and his prayer was (Lord if you teach me how to play this guitar I will play it for you the rest of my life to draw people to you). After that prayer, he placed a song into his recorder that was song by Walter Hawkins and amazingly he was able to follow the song on his guitar. From that day forth Reginald has continued to dedicate his music to Christ by staying with the Church band even though he plays all over the US. This is an amazing story because God personally taught him how to play the guitar. He is now considered as a guitar specialist that is very gifted in writing rhythms and songs that will make you move. He plays in the band at his church and can get you off the pew and onto your feet. Reginald's love is gospel music. It was always being played in the home when he was growing up, but his father love was jazz and his father would challenge him to do what the other artists were doing. His father, Robert C. Jones, was a great motivator and this is why he dedicated this CD to him. Reginald is trying to make Gospel music for the people. His primary focus is on the musicianship. His music is Gospel, but with a major jazzy twist that will blow you away! Be prepared to hear major and minor notes from him that will make you feel like playing a guitar yourself. The sound of Reginald's guitar makes you think of a younger George Benson. Each song on this new release was fueled by an experience in my life. This is why I decided to call this project "EXPERIENCES". The joy and happiness in my life has brought on new compositions and I wanted to share my experiences with everyone. If I would try to describe the way I feel, I would have to say it feels as if there is a music GIANT in me that is just bursting to get out and I can no longer contain him, so I have unleashed him on this release. I pray that it will be a blessing and joy to those that will take the time to listen. I like to give thanks to a group of talented and gifted musicians. Below you will see their Bio information, but the information on paper just don't give them enough credit, I challenge you to purchase this new project and listen to how talented these guys are! I caught these guys performance in Atlanta and it was off the chain! I heard Reginald play and I thought about Johnathan Butler and then he will turn around and do some Benson stuff. I am surprised how the music sound so much like something from out West. Keep making good music man. Waiting for you to come up North.

I like Reginald's style. He has a West Coast style and have broken the mold of how people view musicians from the South. I hear a lot of Carlos Santana, Norman Brown and George Benson in his music. The 1st few min of each song is just a tease I found out, wait until you hear the climax of these songs. Good Stuff Reginald!found this travel layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com :: MyHotComments travel layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com MyHotComments
