I have been singing, rapping and writing for a while. I am MC Vanna here and then I could be someone else somewhere else, confused? Well so am I but aint we all sometimes? I have had tunes on Fullcycle, Bluebox, Passanger records, been in Knowledge mag, played festivals, free peoples parties, bars, pub, in Europe, South america and all over the place and even had a few tunes played on Radio 1 under other aliases... Vanna comes from a book by my favorite author who was a lover of riddles. This is my voice for of riddles and to celebrate my love for hip hop, breaks and bass and bad gal rappers such as MC Lite and Queen Latifa.
I love all music and I play guitar as well and make, rock, metal, hip hop, soul, jazz, funk, drum and bass, breaks, experimental, dub step, reggae and will jam with whoever and whatever. When I hear any music I usually hear something in my head and then the creation begins along with another alias usually :). Its not that I have to I just love thinking of new stage names and things to wear when performing etc. Singing, rapping, writing and reciting are inbuilt, I need to do it to keep my balance and to loose it. I love music, I love the emotion, the places you can go in mind, spirit and in body, the message your can spread and been given from what I believe can be divinity sometimes and it is all I want to do for the rest of my life.....
