After leaving school in Edinburgh back in 1999, I worked in ibiza for 4 months in clubs and bars.. After "hearing" dance music for the first time over there, when i returned home i decided that the music industry was definately for me..I'd seen sasha and digweed in space in ibiza, so the genre of tunage i liked was already kind of decided... I continued my research into the club scene by heading out every weekend back home in search of another good nights clubbing, usually at Taste or Progression in Edinburgh.. All the time building up a reasonable collection of mixed cds... Renaissance, Global Undergound etcI moved to Dublin 6 years ago, and took a year off from the whole clubbin buzz, generally got in together in many ways.. But that was enough of the quiet life.. Both Red Box and spirit were hopping every weekend and i decided to join in...Shortly after then i bought my first set of decks, and started buying tunes, lots of tunes, and the addiction was born.. Weekly trips to abbey disks records and spin dizzy were never missed.. After the first couple of years, i started playing at after parties and smaller clubs and have more recently played in Spirits main room... I also did 4 months on the legendry Dublin dance station Nova 94.7... Then bought cd decks and started the learning process all over... It was around then i had my first venture into production working with Barry Dempsey at Virtue studios... He intrduced me to cubase, reason and ableton and enevitably my current addiction.. Production toys.. Recently my self and dj / production partner garret mullen have been building up our own studio.. My first track "Sust" is featured above... To be continued...
