About Me

After attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Lee decided He did not want to be an out of work actor so He used his voice training and created his own act.Lee does twenty three vocal impressions and recreates eight Legendary Ladies on stage. Lee's first and favorite character he performs, is Judy Garland. He began his career at the Duplex in Greenwich Village and worked his way uptown to Don't Tell Mama's and Theater East.He has toured the country extensively with his one man show, "StarCrazy," recreating the voices and illusions of the "Ladies of the Silver Screen." He followed in the foot steps of Mr. Charles Pierce and his other mentor, Michael Greer. Both actors had a strong influence on him in spite of the rivalry they had between themselves because they both did impressions of Bette Davis in their stage shows. When Lee performs his "Bette," She's the end result of both their influence.Lee has performed in several off-Broadway plays. He came full circle however when he starred in "Myself and I" which was based on his 18 year career.Lee has two CD's and is currently working on a DVD.He's never disappointed an audience or his friends.Lee's new celebrity look-a-like is Andy Warhol.Check out his MySpace videos or visit his websitehttp//www.leebyar.com
