Well, since I'm a working actor/singer/dancer/director/choreographer theatre, music and literature are always interests. I love sun, rain, snow, bodies of water, wind, lightning, thunder, trees, flowers, candle light, good meals cooked at home, good talks, good times shared with old and new friends. I love to dance, but am more likely to do it privately or in the course of my work than at clubs. I meditate. I delve into many different forms of sprituality, always a seeker - not of answers, but of deeper understanding. Life is the great mystery. Love is the great inspiration. Experience the mystery and be inspired!
I'd like to meet:
Creative people - especially writers, composers, performers ... never know when a collaborator or muse might cross a path.
Music:
I like a bit of everything. I figure if you don't like a certain style, you just haven't found the right artist. I gravitate more towards singer/songwriters and am more apt to listen to soloist rather than groups. I am especially drawn to Out gay and lesbian artists. Lately I've been binging on Garrin Benfield, Eric Himan, Christopher Dallman and Gregory Douglass. The new albums of Levi Kreis, Richard Cortez and Ben Schaefer are current listens as well. There are a lot of musicians in MY FRIENDS -- check them out and discover some great talent.
Movies:
Most recent - Good Night and Good Luck, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, A Very Long Engagement and Finding Neverland were favs (smaller flicks over blockbusters). But I'm also a sap when it comes to Harry Potter, LOTR and other fantasy/sci-fi flicks. Love those FX.
Television:
West Wing (still after all these years), the new Battlestar Gallatica, Stargate, Charmed and I still watch Buffy and Angel reruns whenever they're on. I Love Lucy or The Andy Griffith Show will immediately pause my finger on the remote as will something interesting on Logo, Sundance, History or Discovery.
Books:
Well, most recently read DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons -- both a lot of fun. Just finished the "Conversations with God" triology -- a verrrrry interesting reiteration of philosophies I've been reading for the past 25 years.
