Nifa

Nifa is a South Florida native and an active player in the music industry for over 15 years. Starting out in musical theater, Nifa performed in many critically acclaimed productions such as Les Miserables, The Who's Tommy, Hair, and Chicago just to name a few. Nifa also performs as an Impersonator and can be seen currently as Queen Latifah, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Gloria Gaynor and Etta James. As a singer / songwriter with the soulful house group SoulXpres, Nifa writes, performs & choreographs alongside members Dennis Baker, Joanne Baker & Bill and John Storch. Nifa had her first solo release on Soulfuric Deep with veteran DJ's / Producers; Jay Winborn & David Noller (Dynamix II)... collectively known as "Gruvtoobe". Nifa, along with SoulXpres, has released hits on Kiki, MDEX, V.O.T.U, Refunkt and Lantern recordings. SoulXpres just completed a new track titled "Burnin'" with producers M.I.D.I & Mowree.
