Influences: Influences are many, can't say for the rest of the band (I need to ask them) but the main culprits for me are: Led Zeppelin, Velvet Underground, Janis Joplin, Kate Bush, Martha Wainwright, Fleetwood Mac, Peter Gabriel, The Clash, The Waterboys, World Party, U2, The The, Pop Will Eat Itself, Talking Heads, Kate Bush, The Wonderstuff, Faith No More, Neil Young, The Pretenders, Eurythmics, Blondie, Teenage Fanclub (all time favourites), REM, PJ Harvey, Lisa Hannigan, Wilco, Jeff Buckley, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Sufjan Stevens, Nirvana, Turin Brakes, Lau, Damien Rice, Mystery Juice and Snow Patrol (current favourites). There are loads more but brain can't think....oh yeh..how could I forget Bjork! and Killing Joke! och it's all coming back to me...who can forget "She Sells Sanctuary", awesome!! and The Cure and their re-mix album! So many bands...so many great tunes....think I'll go listen to the Cure re-mix right now!Favourite book - I do not seem to have much staying power with books as my brain and body never seem to let me settle for longer than about 5 mins but one book that I did thoroughly enjoy is "Love in the Time of Cholera" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez....please read!
