About Me

This is a TRIBUTE PAGE to the diversity of Senegalese music. It was just about time that Senegalese music had a myspace page entirely dedicated to it. Senegal has given a lot to the world in terms of music. Do Youssou N'dour, Baaba Maal , Ismael Lo, Touré Kunda, Xalam, Wasis Diop... ring a bell? I'm sure they do.Well, here we will bring them, and many more other artists you guys out there may not have heard of. We would also like to present the traditional side of it.So our intention is to give information about the sounds of Senegal and present the most exciting artists, including the lesser known ones. We will not just focus on singers, but we will also take a look at instruments and instrumentalists, because they are the ones supplying the sound. ............................................................ .............................................. ............................................................ ............................................. ...
