Etienne Mbappe, bass player from Cameroon, has played with world artists like Ray Charles, Salif Keita, Manu Dibango, Zawinul, Steps Ahead and also the Parisian fusion band Ultramarine, before crearing his own band "SU LA TAKE", based in Paris. His solo-CD Misiya features a mix of fusion, funk, jazz, Cameroonian roots and also influences from classical music, afropop, singer/songwriter etc. O
