Sound Engineer and Bassist MICHAEL WIGFALL, The double-bass player,With 50 Albums to his Name. was a founder member of the ENFORCERS in 1994. Born in LONDON, he started his bass-playing career at the age of 16. His very first band was called the ROCK-ITS featuring JOHNNY TOMLINSON (who went on to sing for the ORSON FAMILY), friend PAUL MOXAM on drums and COMBO on guitar. Then Michael joined the GUANABATS as their first double bass player and stayed with them for several months. He then went on to play with many other bands like RABBIT ACTION, THE GAMARAYS (when he met PHIL CONNOR from SKITZO, THE COBRAS, SONNY WEST AND THE RHYTHM KINGS, and NUMBER NINE with the legendary PAUL ANSELL, Mike Sanchez , etc… Eventually in 1996,still with NUMBER NINE and THE ENFORCERS, Mick formed his own band called SOLID SMOKE in which he sings lead vocals and makes his debut as a songwriter. The band included lead guitarist CARLO EDWARDS (BLUE CAT TRIO) and Les Curtis. Mick has played bass for countless bands and US artists and took part in many major musical events, several national TV appearances such as Ali G, radio shows in the UK and Europe. On tour in the USA Mick was fortunate to play in towns like Memphis and happened to meet the legendary guitarist JAMES BURTON in JAMES’ own bar in Shreveport in Louisiana. Don't do hardly any ready!read two that i can remember: one was The Pricilia Presley Story which I thought was rubbish, slagging off the king! and The Krays which was interesting.. book i'm ready at the moment is called Cocaine, A definitive history..
