About Me

Well, I didn't make it into NASA so I became a Rock n Roll drummer instead. Born in London and Spent most of my youth watching and pestering drummers at Butlins holiday camps. Walked out of school in March 1981 and climbed straight into a transit van bound for a three week tour of Belgium with Dave Phillips (ex Blue Cat Trio), never looked back. I stayed with Dave for the rest of the Eighties trecking across Europe and Scandinavia, recording the album Wild Youth and reaching the lower regions of the charts with the single Tainted Love. Lived in Londons Marble Arch and worked in clubs in and around Soho !Dave and I spent some time in NYC, teaming up with the Whyo's and then I joined an outfit called The Outer Limits and got a taste of some of that Club Foot action. Toured Italy and Germany, Supported Dr Feelgood, recorded in Tin-Pan Ally and released a few tracks on Nervous Records. From there I signed up with top English rockin' outfit Restless and stayed with them for the next ten years.. Recording many albums and touring throughout Europe, Japan and Australia.Played for Gene Vincent's Blue Caps, Marvin Rainwater, Gene Summers, Rocky & Billy Burnette, then took a short break before jumping in with Darrel Higham and the Enforcers. Thoroughly enjoyed working with Daz and Mick Wigfall. Lovely guys. Played with Paul McCartney at his daughter Stella's wedding and also got to work with guitar god Jeff Beck. Releasing the albums Urban Jamboree and Live at the Thunderbird along the way.I played for Dig Wayne of Buzz and the Flyers/JoBoxers fame at the Rockabilly Rave, recorded an album with Imelda May and have depped with various outfits including The Space Cadets, Number 9 and the "legendary" Porky Coates.. and loved every minute.Just completed another year back with Restless culminating in a fantastic farewell concert at London's Scala theatre. Am booked to play with top swing outfit Juke Joint Jump in Barcelona and also working at next years Rockabilly Rave, Hemsby and Viva Las Vegas weekenders... The adventure ain't over yet baby !
