Hi I'm Kev!! I've been a Rockabilly since 1979 having been influenced by Matchbox ( Yes Matchbox) as my first introduction to music along with a few of my parents old records which I pinched when I left home & still proudly own. Along came Stray cats, Polecats, Deltas , Blue Cats, Meteors etc. Living in Suffolk (UK) 7 miles from Sudbury I witnessed the phonomenon that was the mighty Restless in 1981 as a young 14 year old. We've become good friends in the years since. Rolling on to 1986 the Klub foot beckoned so I hit the psychobilly scene with my mate Aaron who drove every time cos I was ( still am ) a big piss head!We supported the Wigsville Spliffs local gigs ( Another Suffolk band) & did all 11 Big Rumble weekenders during the 90s.As psychobilly turned into just a thrashy noise I returned to my prefered music rockabilly. Doing the usual local rockin' clubs / gigs/ car shows etc. Early 2000s saw my old mates Marty & Paul from Shakeout forming a new band with my buddy Lee called Big Boss & the Fat Cats which was a laugh for a while - Paul & Lee went on to call themselves the Fat Cat Trio eventually teaming up with ace drummer Scotty to rename themselves as the Mojokings. Marty is currently gigging with the reunited Shakeout, with a healthy list of gigs to play. After being on the ale rather a lot between the years,and in the odd (sometimes very odd!) relationship,I met my wife & the patter of tiny feet appeared in my life in 2004 and then again in 2006.Pushing 40 with babies! Nowadays I still get to a gig if I can at least once a month but mainly do both Hemsbys & the Rave with my weekender honchos Scotty & Rose, and Kirky-boy. I am an ebay addict although I am trying to wean myself off cos I'm skint!!!! My job working in the local building supplies don't pay too much but I enjoy it. So thats me!!!
