Vivant! is a musical group like none other. The collective creativity and white-hot fire of these six multi-talented musicians combines to produce a new sound that has ignited its audiences. Vivant! explores the wide spectrum of music that is possible to produce with the accordion. This versatility is demonstrated by employing the accordion in musical settings where it would not normally be expected to be heard. The art of virtuoso concert accordion, when forged with elements of Latin, swing, tango, R&B and pop results in captivating music that is unique, exciting and alive!
Most Vivant members began playing at a young age. Several have toured nationally and internationally. With their experiences combined, they have performed in 28 countries and throughout the US. Vivant strives to contribute to the positive image of the accordion through development of new music and through sharing their music with others in live performances.
