The Fatima Mansions, named after a run-down Dublin housing estate, featured Cathal Coughlan songwriter/singer, Andrias O'Gruama (guitar), Hugh Bunker (bass), Nick Allum (drums) and Zac Woolhouse (keyboards). The band was formed in 1989, and released four full albums- 'Against Nature'- 1989, 'Viva Dead Ponies' (originally titled 'Bugs Fucking Bunny')- 1990, 'Valhalla Avenue'- 1992, and 'Lost In The Former West'- 1995. Also released were- 'Bertie's Brochures (mini album)- 1991, 'Come Back my Children (compilation)- 1992, and Tima Mansio Dumps The Dead (compilation)- 1992 Cathal's solo work includes 'Grand Necropolitan'- 1996, 'Black River Falls'- 2000, 'The Sky's Awful Blue'- 2002, and 'Foburg'- 2006. Cathal also recorded 'The Last Bus Home'- 1990 (Soundtrack)
