Together we are Marvelouss! However,it wasn’t always that way. Over the years we have had our ups and downs, struggles and fights, closeness and distance. We have faced poverty, battled depression, suffered domestic abuse and much more. But in the end we survived. We beat the odds. And today we both enjoy a simply Marvelouss lifestyle.We will share with you our special relationship in hope that it will help anyone to develop and maintain a closer, more loving and trusting bond. Honesty and commitment were necessary tools for us to achieve this special relationship. It took hard work and dedication to a principle and to each other. It took us surrendering to the fact that we must truly forgive, resolve issues and move on to a brighter day in order to avoid pitfalls or get stuck in a negative rut. We desperately wanted to give and receive each others love and that was the life raft we grabbed onto – and never let go!Relationships will invariably change over the years. There are numerous stages we all must go through from babyhood to adulthood. And there are many hurdles we all must overcome to become responsible, loving adults. There will always be some conflict and differences of opinion as individuals grow up and change over the years. We all will make mistakes and hopefully we learn and grow from them. No human is perfect; only God is perfect.Our story is not all that different from millions of others. We are ordinary woman that have achieved extraordinary victories. We have undergone difficult days, horrible events and unreasonable circumstances. We have also undergone glorious days, exciting events, and wonderful circumstances. Marveline's Bio
Marveline was born in a small rural town of Louisiana. She was fortunate enough to attend private school at an early age. She attended boarding school her entire high school years and then she went off to college. She later married and had two beautiful daughters. She was very active in church - speaking for diffrent occasions and teaching different classes. Marveline went back to her hometown and taught there for six years until she decided she wanted to go back to school. She always had an eye for clothes and decorating so she enrolled in a Fashion Merchandising and Interior Design School and graduated with honors. During that time she worked in retail and did modeling, runway and print work. Marveline moved to California and she modeled again for several companies. Her contribution can be felt in areas of Healthcare, Education, Engineering, Airlines and etc. Marveline was also runner-up in the Mrs. America contest. She has traveled throughout the United States and several countries abroad. She at one time owned a small business. Her daughter one night shared her vision and their vision became one which now is the Marvelouss Mother and Daughter Inc. The Marvelouss vision is to inspire and uplift people.
MikaTia's Bio
MikaTia was born in a southern town in Louisiana. She attended private school in Louisiana until she moved to Washington, D.C.MikaTia spent most of her adolescent years in Redondo Beach, California where she graduated from Redondo Beach high School. She studied voice, clarinet, and modern dance. In her late teens she enjoyed dancing for a short time on Soul Train. Throughout the years, she attained experience in sales and public relations.MikaTia continued her education in California until she decided to pursue a modeling career. Her initial start was in California and New York. MikaTia modeling career consisted of Runway, Advertisement, Editorial, Commerical, and Videos.Having a love for music and videos her favorite jobs include featured model for Atlantic Starr's, video "My First Love" and also Peabo Bryson's video "Can You Stop The Rain". MikaTia was the double for Whitney Houston's video "I Belive In You & Me" for the sound track of "The Preacher's Wife".MikaTia and her mother were the first African American mother and daughter to be featured in Playboy's magazines. During her modeling career she traveled throughout Asia and Europe.MikaTia is interested in hosting/co-hosting, a radio program, writing inspirational stories/books, and pursing a career in motivational speaking.Her motto is "Keep a positive attiude and don't quit for happiness and success will be achieved.
