La mia grande passione per il canto è nata con me. Non sono figlia d’arte ma, dopo alcune ricerche, ho scoperto che alcuni miei antenati erano musicisti. Per me il canto è vita! Non so di cosa sia fatta la nostra anima, ma posso dire con certezza che la mia è legata alla musica profondamente. Forse la musica è proprio la mia anima, e io la amo come se fosse un essere umano! Il mio grande sogno è sempre stato quello di fare la cantante professionista; è il sogno che ancora oggi continuo a coltivare. Non mi sono mai fermata, ho sempre cercato di studiare di fare esperienze nuove... ad esempio, nell'anno 2004, ho partecipato ad una trasmissione televisiva, esibendomi in pubblico accompagnata dall'orchestra diretta dal maestro Leonardo De Amicis. Nel corso degli anni ho desiderato molto confrontarmi con altri cantanti, perché credo che ci sia sempre molto da imparare.
Ricorderò sempre un consiglio speciale che mi ha fatto crescere tanto: per emozionare gli altri, devi prima emozionare te stessa.. solo allora sarai in grado di arrivare al cuore della gente. Per realizzare questo mio primo lavoro non mi sono voluta ispirare a un genere musicale preciso, ma ho lasciato che la mia fantasia, le mie conoscenze “disegnassero†un proprio percorso.
Adoro la musica soul, gospel, R&B, Jazz e ovviamente la musica italiana...
I have had a passion for music since I was born. I was not born into a family of musicians, but after some searching I did find out that some of my ancestors were musicians. For me, singing is life itself! I don’t know what our soul is made of exactly, but I can certainly say that mine is deeply linked to music. Maybe my soul is simply that – music. And I love it - as if it were a person! My greatest dream has always been to be a professional singer. I never stopped, I always tried to keep studying to have new experiences I have always wanted to work with other singers because I think that we can always learn much from others. I will always remember a special piece of advice which helped me so much: to move other people, you have to be moved yourself… only then will you be able to reach people’s hearts.
For this first work I didn’t want to draw on one precise type of music, I just let my imagination and experience guide me.
