A brief history: in 2004 there was created a space for free regular performances of experimental, electronic and underground music and art at Plano B records, a lp & cd store and tattoo studio in Lapa, Rio de Janeiro. Being a non-profit free event, Plano B live sessions were able to bring a carefully selected showcase of what was happening in marginal art in Rio de Janeiro, gathering artist that otherwise would have little chance to perform for regular audiences unless they pay (heavily) for it. It soon became the only regular venue for truly experimental art in Rio de Janeiro, attracting artists from cities and countries, and acting as a catalyzer for both public and artists interested in anything outside mass-media.
