Michelle Agnes

..Brazilian composer and pianist. Writes electroacoustic and instrumental music. Composition classes with H.J. Koellreutter and Livio Tragtenberg. 1997-2002 musical composition graduation at UNICAMP. In 2003, she had a bursary from Unesco for a Residence in the Studio of the Institut International de Musique Électroacoustique de Bourges (France) and participated of the Synthèse Festival. She had also classes with Françoise Barrière and Alexander Mihalic.She has composed for film, and done some concerts accompanying on the piano films by Meliès, René Clair, Lumière, Buster Keaton, Fatty Arbuckle and Charlie Chaplin, also played and composed for the I jornada de Cinema Silencioso (Cinemateca Brasileira).Her master research (University of Campinas – Unicamp) is about the relation between sound track, noises, music and futurism in Vertov’s film “Enthusiasm”.
