More on Cecilia Bravo:
I dabble in many creative pots but basically I'm a registered nurse when I need to be, I'm also a travelling Burlesque performer and instructor on all things Burlesque and currently I spend most of my time performing with North America's best Burlesque show, 'Chaz Royal's Burlesque Social Club'. I've produced some of the most extravagant Burlesque events with my company the Fluffgirl Burlesque Society which I formed over 12 years ago and have shared the stage with many great Burlesque stars and musicians. Currently I am launching a hat company that specializes in Burlesque inspired mini Top Hats called 'Chapeau Bravo'. Next fall I will be performing in the UK and Europe with special focus to Italy as I am also an Italian citizen and have been waiting for the art of Burlesque to gain popularity in this country that is close to my heart. Vancouver, as always, will be my place of rest from my adventures abroad. eventhough I am passionate about Burlesque, the two things that are most important to me in my life are Chaz Royal and Maximillion Royal!!
I will never do a "Naughty Nurse" act on stage because I live it!
..

My Interests

Pin up, Burlesque, tiki culture, circus freaks, poster art, going out to all types of entertaining live events, shopping, taking long walks to the corner store with my dog and making the world a more beautiful place one tassel at a time.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone out there who is artistic, understands me, loves dogs...and looks good!

Music:

So much to list since I like everything from punk rock n' roll to old jazz crooners/divas, some electronica and 60's garage. I'm not a big fan of new country music. Here are a few examples of what I like...the Cramps, Nekromantix, The Sonics, Detroit Cobras, The Flaming Sideburns, The White Stripes, the Girls, The Seatsniffers, Thee Merry Widows, old Rolling Stones, Iggy & The stooges, Eartha Kitt and Nina Simone, Etta James, Wanda Jackson, T.Rex, The Makers, the Dirtbombs, The Gossip, Electric Frankenstein, The Dwarves, The las Vegas Grind compilations, Exotica music like Martin Denny and lounge, Devil Doll, there is a place in my heart for all the new wave and punk rock I listened to growing up...and I have some guilty pleasures that I'm keeping a secret!

Movies:

I watch movies almost every night when I'm not on tour and while I'm in the Van on tour and can barely remember them (for reasons I will not disclose) but the movies that come to mind right now are There's something about Mary Pauly Shore is Dead (very funny), Fubar (even funnier), Old School, Happiness, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind, Kill Bill (fan of Quentin's work), musicals: Carmen (the all black cast), Cabaret, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, Foreign: Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, The Bride with White Hair...and similiar asian martial arts flicks where everyone floats through the air before they kill each other, Run lola Run, Blue, scary movies: the Ring, The Exorsist, guilty pleasures: Child's Play and the whole evil, possesed killer doll genre, B movies like some Russ Meyer movies (most of them are just bad bad)...Beyond the Valley of the Dolls and Faster Pussy Cat, Kill, Kill!, the Ilsa movies, Cleopatra Jones movies and other Blaxploitation films. Oh and the Warriors, movies that made me cry: Big Fish, Breakfast at Tiffany's and I hate to admit it....but Forest Gump and I like most movies that Johnny Depp has been in. To be continued...

Television:

I don't have cable now but when I did I would make time to watch CSI Miami, Trailer Park Boys ( Hilarious Canadian show), E true Hollywood Story, Behind the Music, Biography (if the person interested me), Sex and the City, The Appretice. America's next top model (just so me and my boyfriend could check out Tyra Banks fine booty and bitch out the model wannabes), I liked desperate housewives but have only seen a few episodes. Carnivale...though I watched it on DVD.

Books:

I love biographies/autobiographies on people who interest me like old burlesque Stars or actors. Books on The circus, carnival and sideshow. Geek love was great, I just read Memoirs of a Geisha and Blaze Starr's autobiography. I'm currently reading a book on how to write screen plays that sell more for personal interest rather than entertainment value. Guilty pleasure; trashy novels/ love stories I have a collection of them from the 50's and 60's, Valley of the Dolls...To be continued

Heroes:

Maximillion Royal for being such a loving, gentle soul unmatched by any human I have ever met.Chaz RoyalMae West
