Nanny JoJo of Super Nanny - I want her to come and help us get a schedule but I don't want to be on TV, I want Candice Olson to tweak our whole house - especially in space planning; Lynda Barry just for being herself. Also cool would be David Bates, Joseph Cornell, Howard Finster, Hundertwasser, Antonio Gaudi, Basquiat, William H. Johnson, and Georgia O'Keeffe. And Mitch Hedberg. :(

Lost but I'm getting tired of waiting for them to start up their new season;Arrested Development!! Michael Cera was my fave way before Superbad....and Dr. Phil, Get Color for the decision process and the end results but not necessarily for the host; Design Star is getting more exciting each week; Some of the other design shows on HGTV, and Intervention but I have to be in the right mood for it. Oh yeah - Yo Gabba Gabba - move to the groove!
It seems like I have to choose between either reading or painting, but a while back when I was on my big ol' painting break, I loved reading Anne LaMott's Travelling Mercies and Operating Instructions. The Bell Jar & The Lovely Bones - both great books. And I liked The Glass Castle a lot and The Year of Magical Thinking, too.And then there's my little shelter magazine weakness!! I religiously read Domino, Elle Decor, Architectural Digest every month. It's a struggle every time I go to Target not to pick up another one.
(Hero is kind of a hokey word), but my in-laws are the best - they're great people and fantastic grandparents. There was a time when Richard Ferber was the big hero of our house, though. :)
