hmmm...what do i say here? 24 years in the music business. I was a rapper in the 1980's, and worked as a DJ on the nightclub circuit in Chicago and suburbs throughout the late 80's and 90's. Been with a blues group called the Brooze Brothers for 17 years as a singer and MC. Toured the United States with this group and managed national entertainment act for over 10 years. Ran a recording studio, wrote and recorded original music, hosted my own talk show in 2004. I have played, with, opened for, and been on stage with so many big time music celebs and music non-celebs alike. I have been fortunate and blessed to have made great friendships, and to have been given the opportunity to associate with my music brothers and sisters for so many years. I have the most wonderful kids in the world. Life is great! I am humbled, thankful, and blessed to have the life that I have. Now, I am focusing my passion for music into a new Blues Band and re-organizing what has been a full-time hobby for me for the past 20 some years.

Ron "Dr. Sweat" Anderson - Vocals/Drums
Dr. Sweat brings a 30-year package of experiences. The credit list includes Ramsey Lewis, Lou Rawls, The Captain & Tennille, and in the Summer of 2000, along with topbop!, a tour of Australia with SINE...The Band and Metropolis Youth Symphony - led by accomplished Classical Performer, Conductor, Producer and Arranger, Robert Ian Winstin for the Olympic Torch Relay.
Dr. Sweat's mentors include Billy Cobham, Steve Gadd, Lenny White, and Tony Williams, to name a choice few. Like these music legends, there have been many occasions where he would sit-in with a band, and it would sound as if they've been rehearsing for years. Jazz/Rock-Fusion is his first love, but good music comes in many forms, and he doesnt shy away from any of them.
Robert "topbop!" Dodson - Bass
Robert was out on the Chicago jazz-jam-rock scene as a guitarist. At the feet of groups like the Pharaohs, and hanging around the early AACM, he played with a number of local acts, such as Empty Hand, the Omega project and Absolute Zero. Several of his early contemporaries went on to prominence including recording and performing artist, pianist Calvin "koko" Brunson, music director for Oscar Brown, Jr., Curtis Robertson, bassist and jazz guitarist. topbop! has toured on guitar with soul legend Otis Clay. He has studied bass with Bill "Buddha" Dickens. He has performed on bass with the Metropolis Youth Symphony Orchestra, Aswah Greggori & The Enforcers, Blue Rage and others... ...don't you feel we need to know we are all in this together, and if one of us loses, we all lose.
