VERKLIGHETEN is a non-commercial, artist-run gallery and project room in Umeå, Sweden. VERKLIGHETEN shows unexpected visual art, hosts talks and seminars and provides a place for artists and public to meet and discuss art and reality.
VERKLIGHETEN is situated on Pilgatan 16 on the east end of Umeå. The building was previously a trolley factory and is one of few remaining factory buildings in central Umeå. The space consists of two rooms, a 25 m2 exhibition space and an office space on the second floor.
