About Me

I love forge work and everything about it, even riddling the fire in the morning. The thing I love most is that there is always a new technique to master and always will be. I enjoy my sculpture work immensely but equally I love the more particle side of the work I undertake. Making my own tools helps to keep me grounded and I only use traditional blacksmithing techniques in all of my work. This keeps me moving forward instead of falling back and playing safe. (At least I hope it does) I feel that your work should speak for it self and I hope my work conveys some of my feelings while forging it to others. If your interested in what I do please get in contact with me, I’m always happy to discuss forging and art so don’t be shy.Latest News: A number of my sculptures are now being exhibited at the Cat and the Moon's gallery on Castle Street, Sligo. Please tell your friends and pop in to take a look. ..Please take a look at my website: www.michaelbudd.ie
