Galerie SÆkkers fills up the vacume

Æ provides platforms for artists with project
"Galerie SÆkkers".
In a response to the discouraging cultural climat in Eindhoven (the Netherlands) Æ offers artists the possibillity to exhibit their works in one of our temporary galleries.
We achieve this by making use of empty shops/buildings through short-period-contracts with real-estate owners.
The project contributes in a possitive way to the cultural appearance of the city by bringing life into the abandoned buildings, which is good for all parties.
So far we've been able to open nine exhibitions on five different locations.
Project "Galerie SÆkkers" will be fully documented and presented in the end as a round-off summary book.
