..In 1997 Swedish visual artist Tobias Bernstrup made himself a name on the contemporary art scene with his genre breaking mix of art and electronic music. Dressed in elaborate costumes and androgynous make-up he became known for his unmistakable stage persona with computer game-like musical live performances inside major art galleries and museums worldwide.
His music was not really accessible except for a few limited edition CDs that where were sold in art galleries.In 2002 his first official full lenght CD 'Re-Animate Me" (produced by Färgfabriken, Stockholm and mixed by Johan Vävare) was released. The album and its 12" vinyl single "27" was on rotation at London's club Nag Nag Nag and DJ-Gilles notorious New York Decadanse party, Williamsburgs's weekly club Wierd and on Gigolo Records DJ Tommie Sunshines playlists among others.The single was followed by an all Italian version of the song titled "Ventisette" released in 2003 during an art exhibition in Rome. In 2005 he released his 2nd full lenght album "Killing Spree" produced in collaboration with Kunsthalle Nuremberg. In 2007 the 12" single "Neon Love" was released.
