About Me

I'm still setting this up so please bear with me! And yes, this really is Ingrid Pitt, not someone using my name on MySpace.

I was born in Poland a long time ago. Spent 2 years in Stutthof Concentration Camp. Joined Berlin Ensemble 1953. Escaped to West Berlin.

Starred in many top US TV shows. Started Film career in Spain. Had a TV show in Madrid. I worked with Clint Eastwood and Richard Burton on Where Eagles Dare (1968), then I moved to London.

I've appeared in several horror films and also formed the Theatre Touring Company financed by Caledonian Airways. We toured the UK & South America.

I am married to Tony Rudlin. My daughter's name is Steffanie. She is also an actress and my grand daughter is Sofia.

Just finished writing definitive book on Hammer to be published in October by Hammer. It's title is THE HAMMER XPERIENCE.

I have 15 published books including my autobiography - Life's a Scream. In the US it's called Darkness Before Dawn.
