Kirkus Maximus

Spat out at the beginning of the 70s into the industrial hangover that is Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. Self styled "warrior poet", eco-aware freethinking iconoclast, writer, occasional band member, DJ, artist, father and cosmic joker. Vocalist/lyricist and co-founder of minor "cult" acts Chorus of Ruin and Purity Cries. I have also worked with other local bands Wild Trash, Dawnraiser, VDMC, Seers Tear and various "noise" projects. Currently (now theres a friggin' overstatement!) starting new project Yield. I have had several of my poems/verses published. I wear my emotions on my sleeve, and usually do things on instinct or when my mood suits. I am pretty laid back and try and get on with and respect people, if rubbed up the wrong way I am likely to politely tell a person to....well, you get the picture! There is no excuse for bad manners. I live on my own with "Stunt Kitty" Roots! I am father to Elora. Last known employment was at the Bradford Industrial Museum as a digital image assistant. Was involved in voluntary work at Bradfords famous Undercliffe Cemetery, helping to maintain the grounds of this outstanding necropolis and heritage site. I am proud to say that I have worked at these two very important links to Bradfords industrial heritage. I aim to dive with sharks (or watch from a boat at least!) as soon as I get the opportunity. Would like to travel more.
