About Me

Patrick Angelo Pagkalinawan Lim aka. Tha Pat DRE is a Filipino emcee and an upcoming beatmaker/producer hailing from San Francisco/Daly City area. Born in Manila, Philippines, in the province of Taguig, on February 18th, 1987, and then moved to San Francisco at the age of 8. Tha Pat DRE originally started as a spoken word artist in 2006, but he has moved on into the rap scene the following year. Started rapping in March 2007 through FCC Hip-Hop Workshop. Ever since, he's been improving and showing 110% effort every single day! He doesn't rap because of fame. He raps because it's his passion! Other than rapping, Tha Pat DRE also make beats. Started making beats since August 2007 since he was influenced by his brother, Complex, whose also a beatmaker. Still rusty on his beats, he continues to make 'em since he will use some of 'em on his upcoming projects.
Tha Pat DRE is currently a Junior @ San Francisco State University working to get a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. He is also a supporter of LFS (League Of Filipino Students) and PACE (Pilipino-American Collegiate Endeavor).
