About Me

Nomadik Messengers video-"Change Gon Come"
Nomadik Messengers composed of emcee/poet Self-Axis, and Emcee/Producers Mr. Rey, and Aristyles. Coming from the San Francisco Bay Area by the way of the Philippines they bring together a well blended sound that of a feel good vibe with substance, consciousness, criticism, and depth. All three emcees have graced many stages in their solo careers and have now joined forces to bring a unique sound and approach to their music. A music project is in the works and will be out in 2008. More than the music itself, their words speak to the youth, the community, and the people that live everyday and face insurmountable struggles. They are all active within the Filipino community putting in time to give back and serve the people. Shout out to the Filipino Community Center in the Excelsior District, ALAY (Active Leadership for Advancing the Youth), and other organizations that push for change to better the ways and condition of people-most of all our own Filipino Brothers and Sisters. You all are the backbone, the foundation, and the structure of our sounds, words, and art. Our music lives because you all have pushed for what is needed to fight for...Many blessings and solidarity to/for all Self-Axis, Aristyles, Mr.Rey (Nomadik Messengers)
