1.) Who are you?
My name is Patrick Angelo Pagkalinawan Lim. Yeah, my mom's maiden name is HELLA long! I have a Chinese last name, but I'm really Filipino. Anyways, I go by Pat or my MC name, "Tha Pat DRE". I'm a poet and an MC. If you wanna know about me, see the side of my profile.
2.) I wanna be your friend. Can I add you?
I'll add anyone as long as your profile is LEGIT. What I mean is that 50% of the time ppl ask me to be my friend are bots. I would love to limit to inputing my last name and/or e-mail address before you try to add me as a friend, but I want to leave it as is b/c I like to meet new ppl like you. I can tell which one is legit and which one is not. Usually, the ppl's profiles that are legit are MySpace Music ppl and profiles that are set to private. Most of the time, I approve them. Also, I will approve your friend request if I know you from the past.

About Me

Born in Manila, Philippines (Taguig province) on February 18th, 1987. I'm the 2nd oldest in my family. I have three brothers: Isaiah , Cris , and J.R. . I have no sisters, but I just wish I had one! Mostly raised by my parents, Noel and Annabelle, and my favorite aunt in the whole wide world, Tita Lucy aka. "Mamang", from the Philippines. In 1995, I moved to San Francisco where I reside now. I still have the same struggles like back home in the Philippines, but I manage to live with it.

My Poetry

I began writing poetry in 2004, and the early works of my poems were horrible. Ever since, I have been improving. Most of the poems I been doing I just do it on top of my head. Whatever comes into my mind, I just do it. Right now, I'm currently working on a poetry series called, "The Mind Of Tha Pat DRE". It used to be called "All About Me: The Story Of My Life", but I decided to change it, so that it fits into the theme. Poetry is my passion, and with a help from all of you, I made it this far into doing the poems I've been doing. Remember, writing poems is all about writing something on whatever pops in your head.

MC/Rapper

Besides writing poetry, I began rapping this year. My other brothers, Cris and J.R. are well-known MC's/rappers in my family. Eventually, I will be the 3rd one in the family that can rap. Although I'm new to rapping, I feel like I have the potential to do so.

Hobbies

I'm an avid video gamer, and I loved it since I was born! I also love hi-tech stuff b/c I'm always into stuff that makes life much easier. Computers are in my blood! Started going into computers since I was 8. Imagine that! A kid that loves computers! Other than that, I'm also a person that likes to hang out although I don't go out often as much as my brothers. I gotta get out of the habit of staying home too much! Nothing is good without sports! Basketball, baseball, football, tennis, ping-pong, swimming, bowling, and billiards. Those are the sports I play all the time. I may NOT be good at it, but at least I'm having fun.

The 1st club I joined ever. If I had joined Mabuhay Club when I was @ Burton, this would've been the 2nd club I joined instead. They're like family to me. Andrew and Marielle were the two ppl that informed me about PYC, and I quickly join the club b/c I knew that it was gonna be a fun club to join! You know what, let's all hang out sometime! I'll hit you all up on all the upcoming shows that Self-Axis is gonna put it up. Much love from all of you!

Anthony aka. PELE introduce my brothers and I to ALAY. At 1st, joining two clubs/organizations would be a pain in the ass for me, but it's actually not. My schedule fits well with the meetings with PYC and with ALAY. In fact, working with two clubs/organizations would be fun. Not only I get to meet with more new ppl, but it also makes me involved with the community more. I just wanna thank Anthony aka. PELE for informing us about this club/organization.
